Gold! Gold! Gold!
Years 5S and 5B are experiencing GOLD FEVER at Shailer Park State School. As part of this experience, they enjoyed the gold rush experience at Eureka Excursions where they panned for gold, constructed tents, bartered for tools at the general store, mapped their way around the site and finished by playing the gold rush game. |

Integrated Unit
This term Year 6R is undertaking an integrated unit of work titled ‘Eco Enthusiasts’. As part of our investigation we are looking at –
- the greenhouse effect
- sources of renewable and non-renewable energy
- human impact on the global environment
- sustainability
As a culminating project, students will design and construct their own eco-friendly homes that will be on display for parents. |
